We have had a number of queries about how to best import Ensite data into OpenEP. The data export options from Ensite are quite extensive, and OpenEP already has parsers for each data file.
However, what we didn’t have until now is a single ‘SOP’ or point of entry for these files. We do now!
I will add detailed instructions here when testing is complete but in essence the steps are:
- Select the map you are interested in from the 3D viewer
- Select, in turn ‘LAT’, ‘Peak-to-peak’ and ‘Peak-to-peak’ ticking the ‘unipole’ box.
- For each selected map, export the contact mapping model and the ** contact mapping** data sets.
- These should be saved according to a naming convention in the Directory Name field - OpenEP_LAT, OpenEP_BIP and OpenEP_UNI
- Use the new function,
importprecision_openep.mto import the data.
