Starting EP Workbench from Terminal for Error Logs (MacOS)

Logging/Raising Errors

EP Workbench is still in BETA version and may have bugs and issues.

When logging or raising an issue it is useful to show the error message during IT Help or bug raises.

This example is for the build version on MacOS:

(1) Applications > EP Workbench > (Right Click) > "Show Package Contents".

(2) Contents > MacOS > EP Workbench (exec)

Double click on the exec file to start the session.

You want to select the EP Workbench Executable - it may take longer to load than usual.

(3) This will start a Terminal session and EP Workbench.

You can now use EP Workbench as intended, or try to recreate the issue/bug you experienced in this session.

* DO NOT CLOSE the Terminal window, this will close your application.

The terminal (the window with the writing) can be left to run in the background. Closing the terminal will close the EP Workbench session.

(4) When there is an error/bug/issue with the application, always copy and paste the terminal log when asking for help on the issue.
